Documentary Strategy and Editorial Impact

ClearFrame works with filmmakers, production companies and industry partners on high-end international documentary, supporting projects from early development through to financing, production and release.

It is led by Lucie Kon, an Emmy Award-winning documentary strategy and editorial consultant and former commissioning editor for BBC Storyville.

Lucie commissioned and executive produced the Oscar and BAFTA-winning Mr Nobody Against Putin (now also a Peabody Award nominee), as well as We Will Dance Again, which won an Emmy, the Rose d’Or and the duPont Award, alongside a wide range of internationally recognised documentaries.

She works with projects at all stages, helping shape story, refine pitches and position films to secure backing and reach audiences, with particular expertise in editorial strategy, co-production and navigating complex funding landscapes.

She is an experienced mentor, speaker and moderator, and has worked with leading international programmes and labs including Documentary Campus Masterschool, Ex Oriente, ZagrebDox Pro and DocEdge NZ.
